I’m so happy you found us. Welcome!
I was raised in Maui by a mom who worked in the world of fine art, which instilled in me a deep-rooted appreciation for service, aesthetics, and attention to detail. In other words, I’m the person who walks into a restaurant and immediately notices if the linens are pressed and what the stemware looks like. After all, when you grow up in a coveted travel destination and spend your childhood in art galleries and hotels, you learn what luxury looks like pretty quickly.
An on-location destination wedding planner who gets things done and makes it look easy? You’ve found your girl.

But I didn’t just grow up appreciating high-end experiences—I was also responsible for providing them. I worked in hospitality for resorts and food service management before finding my true passion as a destination wedding planner. After planning countless weddings in Maui, in 2017, I heeded the call of the mountains and founded Kira Barczy Events in the Vail Valley. I’ve been living (and loving) the Colorado life ever since.
With more than a decade of experience and hundreds of weddings to my name, I know just how to advocate for your needs and wants—particularly if you’re planning a destination wedding in Vail, Beaver Creek, or Aspen from afar. Equipped with industry knowledge, innate creativity, and local connections, I seek to serve my clients holistically–

Find me hiking with my daughter, Gia, my husband, Stephen, and our two dogs, Ember and Dakota—or snowboarding Beaver Creek.
My Escape
Call me cliche, but—the mountains. Wildflowers and Palisade peaches in the summer. Golden aspen leaves in the fall. Shimmering blankets of snow in the winter. Does it get dreamier than that?
